Along with Mr. Herbert, Darrell Dunham, co-founded Carbondale's Bankruptcy Advocates LLP in 2009, and the firm focuses on debtor bankruptcy work.


Darrell Dunham has more than 40 years of experience as an attorney. He has also served the community as an arbitrator, law professor and mediator.  He is licensed in both state and federal courts in Illinois.

As a professor, Mr. Dunham has offered legal consultation for attorneys all over the United States.  His areas of expertise include bankruptcy law,  civil litigation, and workers' compensation. 


It is important to Mr. Dunham to incorporate his Christian faith into his legal practice.  In this context, his first duty is to honor his client, and support the outcomes that he feels are right, even if unpopular.
